E’ uno dei tanti progetti condotti da Zan Hoffman, sperimentatore di suoni e rumori dal 1985, con parecchie collaborazioni internazionali. Ha fondato ZH27, un’etichetta discografica dedita alla musica sperimentale ed alla collaborazione tra artisti.

UbeboetM.A. Tolosa (Ubeboet) è un sound designer di Madrid coinvolto nella scena elettronica sperimentale dalla metà degli anni 90. I suoi lavori sono indirizzati sulla musica concreta, sui rumori, sulla fonografia e sul minimalismo; ha realizzato dischi su etichette come: Nonvisualobjects, Zeromoon, Earlabs, Test Tube ed altre ancora; ha partecipato a varie collaborazioni con artisti come Asher, Dale Lloyd and Pablo Reche; manda avanti la netlabel Con-V.

UR

 

Gli Ur sono nati agli inizi del 2003 come collaborazione fra Federico Esposito e Mauro Sciaccaluga (il primo membro di Heartside e responsabile del progetto solista di musica industriale Den LXV, il secondo tuttora membro di Never Was, Downrigth e Kafka) entrambi attivi nel circuito hard core. A loro successivamente si è aggiunto Andrea Ferraris, che ha suonato con Deep End, Ultraviolet Makes Me Sick, Burning Defeat, Onefineday, One By One e Permanent Scar. Gli Ur hanno fatto il loro debutto live durante l’Afe-Party nel Novembre del 2005, e da allora i loro live-set sono diventati sempre più frequenti. Recentemente hanno aperto per Eugene Chadbourne e Wolf Eyes nel corso delle loro date italiane. I tre, da sempre appassionati di sonorità new wave, si sono negli anni avvicinati da un lato all’elettronica più radicale e alla sperimentazione sonora più estrema (Keiji Haino, Merzbow) e dall’altro al filone del folk apocalittico ed alla musica kraut. Gli Ur propongono una improvvisazione che si basa su drones e campioni vocali e sonori con cui creano sonorizzazioni sulle quali sono inserite trame elettroacustiche suonate con oggetti, il tutto manipolato con pedali ed effetti: ne risulta un suono compatto e desolato. La loro musica si basa su delle improvvisazioni free e le sue sonorità che non possono essere facilmente descritte senza fare riferimento al lavoro seminale dei primi gruppi industriali di fine ’70, inizio ’80. "Triadic Memories" è la loro prima uscita "ufficiale" dopo l’esordio autoprodotto di "Baptism & Birthday". La produzione degli Ur si basa su improvvisazioni le cui sonorità sono classificabili come musica industriale dalle tonalità drammatiche: il tutto sembra inteso a riprodurre il senso di un matrimonio tra arcaicità dell’istinto e modernità dello strumento. Una colonna sonora estrema fra musica industriale e sperimentazione kraut che accompagna i filmati di cui fanno uso durante i live set.

 Pal Asle Pettersen

Pal è un musicista che vive a Stavanger, in Norvegia, dal 1992 è attivo con diverse band e progetti solisti. Gestisce una piccolo etichetta discografica, chiamata Zang (http://www.zang.no and http://www.myspace.com/zang2) assieme a Helge Olav Øksendal (HOH).

 

 

Ha 2 differenti progetti solisti :
